If your insurance company requires a referral from your child’s primary physician before seeing a specialist, we will be happy to assist you. Please make an appointment so your doctor may evaluate your child to determine if a specialist is necessary. Or your doctor may feel when evaluating your child that a referral to a specialist is need. If a referral is needed, please allow 10-14 business days to process non-emergency referrals. One of our referral specialists will call to schedule your specialist appointment, and then call you to notify you of the time and date of your appointment. If the time and date don’t work with your schedule, you can, at that time, call and reschedule with the specialist. Greensboro Pediatricians refers our patients to many local specialists in town, but also refer to areas such as Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem.
