New Jersey native Dr. Lawrence Puzio brings a wealth of pediatric expertise to Greensboro Pediatricians. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Puzio did his medical degree and his pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical School. He holds American Academy of Pediatrics Board Certification and maintains interests in pediatric infectious diseases and wilderness medicine.
“I decided on pediatrics as my specialty because I love watching children and families grow,” says Dr. Puzio. “Children are both challenging and fun to work with, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to watch them grow through childhood. One of the greatest delights of practicing pediatrics is treating the children of former patients!”
Dr. Puzio approaches his free time with the same passion he brings to work. He has many interests, not the least of which is spending time with his wife, son and the family’s Animal Shelter rescue dog. In addition, Dr. Puzio loves to read and enjoys science, woodworking, antique restoration, mountain biking, and home improvement projects.
Dr. Puzio makes time to be involved in community affairs as well, including his church – Unitarian-Universalist Church of Greensboro – and is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity and Architectural Salvage of Greensboro.
