Dr. Rina Mehta joined our practice in July 2021. Dr. Mehta received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Neurology from the University of Connecticut graduating magna cum laude and went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also multilingual in the languages of English, Gujarati, Spanish, and understands basic Hindi. Outside of work Dr. Mehta enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and trying new recipes & restaurants.

What attracts me the most about primary care pediatrics is the ability to form longitudinal relationships. Nothing provides me greater satisfaction than the ability to support and treat children through healthcare services and see them transform into healthy human beings in society. I would like to be a source of guidance and reassurance to families and I promise to work diligently to earn their trust. I look forward to participating in collaborative care with my patients and their respective families.
